Brandt Brass Ensemble took part in the International Festival of Brass ensembles and orchestras "Jeju 2015" (South Korea)

At the festival were invited to the best ensembles and soloists and orchestras from Germany, Belgium, the USA, Spain, France, England, Hungary, Poland, Japan, Taiwan, Korea. In addition to concerts of world stars of the festival has a rich program consisting of a master - classes, exhibitions of musical instruments.
Russia at the festival on a special guest representing Brandt Brass Ensemble. Last time Russian performers took part in this landmark event in 2002.

Brandt Brass Ensemble was presented the honor - to take part in the opening of the festival. Also, for two weeks in various music venues located throughout the island, the team was presented a program specially prepared for presentation at the festival. Russian music was provided by copyright transcriptions of Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, as well as world premieres sounded - works specially written by composer - Russian and American contemporaries ( D. Regehr (USA), M.Heyfets (Russia), A. Gilev (Russia) for Brandt Brass Ensemble.

Jeju-do - a natural jewel of South Korea, one of the most beautiful islands of East Asia. Jeju Island - it is an extinct volcano. In the center of the island rises Mount Halla - the highest mountain in South Korea (1950 m). The lava which flowed from its crater became basalt, mainly on the island of building and ornamental stones. Due to its volcanic origins the island of Jeju has a truly unique and diverse nature, which is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
