The art director of Brandt Brass Ensemble was granted a medal 'For keeping the national traditions’. At the 5th session of the Public Council of the Ministry of Education of Saratov Region, the art director of Brandt Brass Ensemble Oleg Abramov was granted a medal 'For keeping the national traditions'

This award is given annually to the specialists who greatly contributed to the keeping and popularization of the national culture and traditions and for many years have been involved into cultural and educational and public activities.

The adviser of the Minister of Education of Saratov Region Sergey Saratovskiy said, ‘The year of culture in Russia brought into spot a range of interesting public projects which have been carried out in the region. One of them was obviously a number of projects of Brandt Brass Ensemble and personally of Oleg Abramov which were supported by the Ministry of Education of Saratov Region. We grant this honoured award and look forward to further collaboration with the band’.
